How Hot is Too Hot: Is your building ready for climate change?

As we’ve seen, heat waves are causing buildings to overheat to the point of harm to building occupants and they are expected to grow in frequency and intensity. The responsibility falls on our industry to put measures in place to protect the people in our buildings. During the session, Kyle will deep dive into why air conditioning isn’t sufficient in all cases, and how careful consideration of building design, location, shading, and regulation of internal heat gains can reduce overheating risks.
