Benefits

SeaBEC is an active organization that brings together a cross-section of the public and private sectors. Through its meetings, symposiums, and events, SeaBEC provides an opportunity for the public and private sectors to learn of emerging trends in building technology and federal policy. Meetings are designed to encourage discussion among technical experts. By becoming a member, you’ll get to enjoy all the resources SeaBEC has to offer including discounts at SeaBEC-sponsored special events. Memberships are individually based with yearly dues at the following rates:

  • Regular member, $50 per year
  • Student and retired members, $0 per year

Member Meetings

Attendance at monthly SeaBEC meetings is free for current members. We request $10 for non-member attendance. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted at the meeting sign-in table.

If you're new to SeaBEC and would like to become a member, please complete our new member form 2017 Membership Application. Membership for 2017 is now available. Our membership cycle runs January through December of each year.  

Renew

If you have been a SeaBEC member before, please renew your membership by 2017 Membership Renewal. Membership for 2017 is now available. All 2016 memberships expire on December 31, 2016.

Policies

  • Membership period runs for a 12-month period starting: January 1 to December 31.
  • Membership renewals are due by January 1.
  • Any membership purchased during the calendar year is subject to the full membership cost.
  • Membership benefits include society voting rights, discounts on luncheons and seminars, and registration on and access to the SeaBEC membership list.
  • The Seattle Building Enclosure Council (SeaBEC) expressly prohibits the use of its name by any group, firm, or individual in promotional materials, advertising or any activity where product endorsement, fitness for particular purpose, or certification of competence is implied or expressly stated. Membership in this organization does not endow an individual with credibility regarding building enclosure issues nor does it signify that an individual has the proper knowledge and background to inspect, analyze, or design within the building enclosure arena.
