Membership Benefits

SeaBEC is an active organization that brings together a cross-section of the public and private sectors. Through its meetings and symposiums SeaBEC provides an opportunity for the public and private sectors to learn of emerging trends in building technology and federal policy. Meetings are designed to encourage discussion among technical experts.

• To apply for membership for the 2011-2012 year, please click here

• If you were a 2010-2011member, your membership will now expire on December 31, 2011, no further action is required on your part.

• If you would like to become a new member, or renew your membership for 2012, your membership will run from the date you register through December 31, 2012.

Policies

• Membership period runs for a 12 month period starting January 1 to December 31.
• Membership renewals are due yearly by January 1st.
• Any membership purchased during the calendar year is subject to the full membership cost.
• Membership benefits include society voting rights, discounts on luncheons and seminars, registration on and access to the SeaBEC membership list.
• The Seattle Building Enclosure Council (SeaBEC) expressly prohibits the use of its name by any group, firm or individual in promotional materials, advertising or in any activity where product endorsement, fitness for particular purpose, or certification of competence is implied or expressly stated. Membership in this organization does not endow an individual with credibility regarding building envelope issues nor does it signify that an individual has the proper knowledge and background to inspect, analyze or design within the building envelope arena.
